The short version
Rolyal keeps what it needs to give you back your summaries and your tasks, and nothing else. The video you upload is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed, and neither the audio nor the transcript is stored anywhere. The time you spend on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube never leaves your phone.
Who is responsible
Munir Torres, data controller. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What is stored
- Your account: your email and your encrypted password, handled by Supabase.
- Your answers when you start: what you want out of the app and how many videos you save a week.
- Every video you save: its link, which network it came from, and what the AI writes from it (title, summary, key points, mentioned links, category and tasks). If processing fails, the reason is stored.
- Your tasks and whether you ticked them.
- How many videos you have processed and when, which is what the free plan limit rests on. It does not store what they were about.
- If you turn notifications on, the identifier your phone uses to receive them.
- If you ever pay, your subscription identifier and its paid-until date. Rolyal never sees or stores your card.
- Your username and photo, if you set them. The username is the only thing of yours that someone opening a shared summary can see.
What is NOT stored
- The video. It goes to a private store, gets transcribed and is deleted in the same operation, whether it worked or not.
- The audio or the transcript. Not in any table, not in the server logs.
- Your screen time per app. If you turn the wall on, that number stays on your phone.
Who else touches it
Nothing is sold or handed to anyone else, and nothing is used for advertising.
- Supabase: the database, the accounts and the file store.
- Groq: transcribes the audio and writes the summary. It receives the video for as long as that call lasts.
- Google: only if you turn notifications on, to deliver them.
- The payment provider, only if you subscribe.
How long
What you save stays while you have an account. When you delete it from the app, everything goes with it: videos, summaries, tasks and files. There is no separate copy.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, take it with you or delete it. The fastest way is to delete your account from Profile, which does all of it at once. For anything else, write to [email protected].
If you think something is being handled badly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority.
Minors
Rolyal is not meant for anyone under 14, and nothing is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes. If the change matters, you get told inside the app before it affects you.
